Being an internationally recognised Operations Management qualification, the CPIM programme is well respected amongst business professionals – particularly Supply Chain and Production Managers. However these have been professions which have been subject to increasing work pressures in recent years as a consequence of leaner operations, compressing lead-times and ever-more demanding customers, meaning the time necessary to achieve the valuable CPIM certification often cannot be afforded.
